Deccan Odyssey, an Indian Luxury train will take the devotees and sightseers on a whirlwind tour across the five Sikh Takhts in India. The Takhts and the destinations include Kiratpur Sahib, Anandpur Sahib (site of the Takht Keshgarh Sahib), Amritsar (Akal Takht Sahib), Bathinda (Damdama Sahib), Jaipur, Agra, Nanded (Hazur Sahib) and Mumbai. For a visit to the final Sikh Takht, the passengers will take a flight to Patna on January 5, visit Patna Sahib, and fly back to Delhi the next day.

This luxury train journey will commence on the 29th of December 2010. The train Deccan Odyssey will be chartered by the government of Maharashtra for this special tour. According to the CEO Sajivve Trehaan of Luxury Trains and Luxury Holidays, the USP of the journey will be New Year at Golden Temple. Most of the guests on board the train will be NRIs and the train is expected to run full capacity.
