Indian luxury train, Deccan Odyssey set a new record as it was awarded at the World Travel Awards (WTA), the title for Asia’s Leading Luxury Train 8 times, and the 5th time in a row. Previously named the Indian Maharaja-Deccan Odyssey it won recognition 3 times in 2010, 2011 & 2012. With the new name, the winning spree started from 2014 to the present year 2018, consecutively for 5 years. This year the prestigious ceremony was held on 3rd September 2018 at the Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong.

Deccan Odyssey is a premier luxury train of the country, known for its majestic journeys, exemplary services, and royal experiences. The train stood to its reputation among the other nominees of Asia’s Leading Luxury Train 2018, which included- Eastern & Oriental Express, Maharajas’ Express, Palace on Wheels, and The Golden Chariot.
