Efforts of Kerala Tourism to woo overseas travelers are gaining recognition at international platforms. One such accolade for Kerala tourism came at the Prague International Advertising Festival where its advertising campaign ‘Your Moment is Waiting’ was conferred a bronze medal in the category of the state as an advertiser. The two-day award ceremony took place in Prague on April 25 – 26 and winners were chosen by a jury of experienced professionals from the advertising and marketing world.

Commenting on this prestigious honor Kerala Tourism Minister A. P. Anil Kumar and Rani George said “This is an unprecedented honor for us. It is recognition of the hard work put in by Kerala Tourism in managing the brand Kerala and devising effective marketing strategies.”

“The award at Prague is another big endorsement, at the global level, for our efforts to further promote the brand Kerala in the world tourism circuit. This recognition reiterates that our efforts are on the right track”, said tourism director Rani George.

‘Your Moment is Waiting’ print campaign shot by renowned photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta and conceptualized by Stark Communications Private Limited features a glimpse of momentary pleasures felt by tourists visiting this God’s Own Country.  The print campaign has previously won two regional awards for photography and art direction at Club Pepper Award 2012 and with this recognition, it can assured that tourists will go head over heels with Kerala.

Other winners in different categories are German Car manufacturer Volkswagen, American confectionery conglomerate Kraft Foods, and consumer goods giant Unilever.
