Owned and managed by Travel Corporation of India (TCI), Indian Maharaja is the chartered version of the popular Deccan Odyssey train. Launched on 18th September 2009, this Indian luxury train has two tastefully crafted itineraries- Mumbai to Delhi and Delhi to Mumbai- each of which covers the same destinations in a vice versa mode. When it comes to accommodation on this train, the 11-passenger cars have 8 patrons per coach. Each coach has 2 compartments that come with a choice of twin-bedded rooms and queen size bedrooms.
These guest cabins are classified in terms of three categories- Silver Class, Gold Class, and Platinum Class. Each cabin is equipped with a range of modern amenities which include air conditioning, an attached toilet with showers, an LCD television, a personal safe, and a telephone. All guest coaches are appointed with a personal Khidmatgar to accommodate all your needs and requirements.
Single Class Cabins
Starting from a price of USD 595, the Silver Class cabins are all-inclusive transfers, tours, and excursions by air-conditioned luxury buses. The jungle safari in the Ranthambore National Park is done in canters.
Gold Class Cabins
Starting from a price of $ 995, the Gold Class Cabins are all-inclusive of transfers, tours, and sightseeing in air-conditioned cars. Tourists are accompanied by a local guide to enhance the sightseeing experience. 2 jungle safaris by canters in the Ranthambore National Park.
Platinum Class Cabins
The four presidential suites aboard the Indian Maharaja train feature a bedroom, a living area, and well-equipped bathrooms. Guests staying in the Platinum Class Cabins (presidential suites) are offered sightseeing excursions through air-conditioned private cars along with a personal guide to enhance the sightseeing experience. The minimum tariff for the Presidential Suite is USD 995 on a twin-sharing basis.
