The news of the re-launch of Maharajas Express with 5 brand new itineraries has come as a huge relief for the connoisseurs of luxury trains traveling around the globe. The Indian Panorama, which is one of the recently announced tour itineraries will be inaugurated on October 20, 2012. This tour departure will be from Safdurjung Station in New Delhi and cover Jaipur, Ranthambore, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Lucknow.
The Maharajas Express Indian Panorama tour itinerary has been tastefully crafted to include an array of World Heritage Sites in north India along with a dash of wildlife, insider cultural interactions, spirituality, and heritage. The tariff of the Indian Panorama journey starts from US $5560 per person per journey. The tariff is all-inclusive of local sightseeing tours, dining, entrance fees at monuments and palaces, transportation, accommodation, English-speaking guides, and porter charges. The price of Maharajas Express itineraries however does not include any expenses of personal nature on and off the train.
Maharajas Express is considered to be one of the most luxurious trains in the world. The train comes equipped with state-of-the-art in-suite amenities such as Wi-Fi internet, LCD television, direct dial phones, an electronic safe, and attached bathrooms with showers. The train also comprises a Presidential Suite spanning over an entire carriage which was previously unheard of in luxury trains anywhere in the world.
