Royal Rajasthan on Wheels” (RROW),The super luxurious Train began its first royal journey of this season 2014 with 32 guests from Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi on Sunday October 5, 2014.

The train promises a memorable trip to all as more destinations have been added up to this luxurious journey. Along with the major destinations of Rajasthan such as Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, travelers will visit other famous tourist attractions including Varanasi, Agra and Khajuraho.

General Manager of RTDC, Mr. Parmod Sharma said that Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is the key highlight by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation in the field of luxury rail journeys. He proudly added that the luxury train has been able to create a brand image for itself in the global travel market.

Mr. Surendra Singh Chaudhri, GM of Royal Rajasthan on Wheels informed that the train has 22 State-of-Art coaches which have 1 Super deluxe coach (2 cabins), 13 deluxe coach (containing 3 cabins each), 2 Restro Bars (40 covers each), 1 Kitchen, 2 Staff cum Store Car and 2 Power cars. The Total capacity of the train is 82 pax. Travelers can enjoy this luxurious experience in a Super Deluxe Suite for USD 1700 per night, Deluxe for USD 625 per person per night and twin sharing and Deluxe for USD 875 per person per night on single occupancy basis in the cabin.

He also informed that the luxury train has 2 dining cars: Swarn Mahal and Sheesh Mahal. While the Swarn Mahal boasts a brass and gold theme, the Sheesh Mahal restaurant features captivating floor lamps and crystal pelmets. Both the restaurants offer lip smacking dished from Rajasthani and other Indian cuisines.

Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has 14 luxury Saloons which are categorized into Deluxe and Super Deluxe saloons. They offer facilities such as Wi-Fi internet, Satellite TV and more. Some cabin names of the train are: Hawa Mahal, Padmini Mahal, Kishori Mahal, Phool Mahal and Super Deluxe Coach ‘Taj Mahal’. The train also has a souvenir coach which offers a variety of handcrafted products and apparels including beer mug, embossed leather jewelry product, cruet set, leather photo frame and various other accessories.
