Two new itineraries have been added to the Deccan Odyssey, one of the luxury trains of India. Originally, the train had only one journey of 7 nights and 8 days that took its guests to some of the most sought-after destinations like Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Goa, Kolhapur, Daulatabad, Chandrapur, Ajanta Caves and Nashik. Now, 2 more journeys have been added- Indian Odyssey (Delhi to Mumbai and Mumbai to Delhi). The original Deccan Odyssey Journey will now be called Maharashtra Splendor. Therefore, now the caretakers of Deccan Odyssey train will now run three journeys.
These 2 journeys mirror each other, while the first starts from Delhi and ends in Mumbai, the other starts from Mumbai and ends in Delhi. The two newly added journeys will offer its guests a chance to explore other popular destinations of India including Mumbai, Aurangabad, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and Delhi.
All the three itineraries of Deccan Odyssey do not only include sightseeing but there are other activities as well such as interaction with the wildlife, meeting with members of royal families, special gala meals, shopping, attending cultural performances and more.
