Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has announced changes in the running of the luxury train Royal Rajasthan on Wheels. The changes include alteration in scheduled departures of the rail journeys undertaken by this cruise train and the booking and cancellation policies for this rail tour. Updated schedules and new booking and cancellation policy will be applicable from October 2011 for Royal Rajasthan on Wheels train journeys.
Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is an Indian luxury train managed by RTDC in collaboration with Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). Kicked off to offer cruise rail journeys similar to luxury trains like Hiram Bingham and Royal Scotsman, this luxury trains in India offer extravagant rail trips across majestic destinations in Rajasthan along with spiritual nerve center of Hinduism Varanasi, famous erotic temples of Khajuraho and the timeless Taj Mahal in Agra.
