Perhaps there should be a word more suitable than decadence, to sum up, the indulgence offered by the suites talked about here in this post. There are over-the-top hotel suites in some over-the-top hotel like Royal Penthouse Suite, in the Hotel President Wilson, Geneva where the guests squander US$ 65,000 for one night’s stay.
But then how many of you are aware of the over-the-top hotels in India where some of the select few in the world could spend the night for US$ 45,000 per night.
Yes, we are talking about the winner of the World’s Leading Heritage Hotel, the Raj Palace in Jaipur. For less than 1% of the world, this might be a dream list to do in their lifetime but for the rest of us, it is an even-if-I-could-why-would-I list.

Oh yes. I did feel the need to make a special mention to the luxury suite in Maharajas' Express for all the comforts and sophistication of a heritage hotel or 5-star hotel lavish suite are instilled on a moving passenger vehicle.
I know it sounds almost impossible to believe, so you have to experience to believe it.

Hey Karan. This is an awesome post. Wow! I mean places like this are there for indulgence. Well but indulgence is not the right word…it's unabashed indulgence.
Some really ultra luxe suites you have mentioned. I read about Maharajas' Express and was really intrigued. Its mind blowing to know that this kind of opulence is available in a rail carriage. It's unbelievable and so is the price that one pays US $22,000 for a 7 night tour in this luxury Presidential Suite of Maharajas' Express.
Great Post Karan, you have presented here a nice collection of hotels from all over India. I like the first one "Taj Lake Palace – Udaipur, Rajasthan", because the Lake makes this place more beautiful & attractive.
